One of the best and also with TÜV: Our Open Air Intake for Golf 7, Golf 8 and Co is the right thing for you if you are looking for a rich sound and significantly more power! This suction was developed on our performance test bench for maximum performance.
With our new suction, we have found a way to supply your turbocharger with even more fresh intake air. Thanks to the optimised design, the air flow to the compressor is completely undisturbed and also increased, so your turbo has plenty of fresh air to work with. Your engine will thank you for this with up to 25 hp more power and 20 Nm more torque compared to the standard intake!
We have also ensured that the intake air not only flows in abundance, but is also nice and cool: thanks to the integrated heat shield, the performance air filter always draws in cold air, which further optimises combustion. If you think an open mushroom sucks in warm air and is counterproductive, I have to tell you quite clearly that it is not! It is not! The warm air in the engine compartment is completely sucked away within a second. And then there is only cool, fresh intake air!

When it comes to new performance products, we spare no expense and no effort and our open performance suction is no exception. We wanted to develop an air intake system that reduces the restrictions as much as possible so that the air reaches the turbo smoothly.
Standard air filters are designed to prevent clogging under a wide range of conditions and reduce intake noise. From a performance perspective, this makes them very inefficient and their sound is boring.
We have changed both! We were able to reduce the pressure drop and increase the flow rate at the same time to give you maximum performance. Depending on the vehicle, you can achieve up to 25 hp more power and 20 Nm more torque. The sound is also no longer restricted with our open suction and the result is a beastly good sound.

Open Air Intake made of PA 6.6: The stuff intake dreams are made of!
When choosing the material, we also considered the highest possible performance and therefore opted for the famous PA 6.6, which is also known as nylon 66. It is the polyamide with the best properties at high temperatures over a long period of time, starting with great hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and dimensional stability. It also has excellent sliding and friction properties, making it the perfect material for our suction.
