Well it was realy good. Car did his job again in more than expected. Last year I tested car on track day at Grobnik, and power, breaking, stability of the car was just perfect. Driving car still on map of 600hp is what you need. I have extra track map with 630hp and lower egt and other temps. Cooling was great, peak power water temps were maxed 104celsius, and oil temp was 112 at most. EGT was under 670 celsius all the time.
Tyers I use are NANKANG CRS 235/35/19 and just do the job. At SALZBURG I did time 1.39sec. But on 90degree cornering i used 3rd gear I was not downshifting to 2nd to keep high rpm and boost on turbo. So took time to spool up and was my mistake, I could make better times but after 11:30 my health conditions got worser and worser and I had to stop – now I’m on antibiotics for 3 days… So next time on slazburg I’m going for record time for sure. Golf is just made the best for track days as it is.
