This aluminum pressure pipe from the intercooler to the throttle valve for all listed 1.8-2.0 TSI Euro 6 engines of the MQB platform replaces the original hard plastic part.
The larger pipe diameter of 63 mm (60 mm inner diameter > OEM only 53.7 mm), combined with the aerodynamically optimized design and the elimination of the stiffening struts*, results in an increased airflow of 287.9 cfm (measured via flow bench).
*These are used on the OEM pipe to prevent breakage due to overtightening of the clamps.
