Technical features of HG-Motorsport ignition coils

Even at a temperature of 140°C, the ignition energy of the HG-Motorsport ignition coils remains stable (70 mJ), while the OE coils already fail or reach critical values.

Winding structure and function
The ignition coils operate with an optimized primary and secondary coil structure.
The primary winding generates a strong magnetic field which, when it collapses, induces a high voltage in the secondary winding.
Thanks to the higher number of windings and improved insulation, a constant ignition energy is ensured even at high speeds and load peaks.
Thermal tests and long-term results
- Continuous thermal stress:
- Test setup: Continuous operation at 120°C with simulated load cycles over 100 hours
- Result: No reduction in performance and no thermal degradation of the HG-Motorsport ignition coils
